National humanities and Chatauqua scholar Becky Stone will portray Rosa Parks. This courageous and determined woman refused to
give up her seat on a bus in 1955
in Alabama, in essence starting the Civil Rights Movement. Professor Stone will also discuss Park’s focus on Women’s Rights as they relate to the Civil Rights Movement.
