What is this?
The Election Reform team is co-hosting an National Popular Vote education event with our local ally Represent Ft. Collins. State Representative Jeni Arndt, House District 53, will speak about the National Popular Vote. The National Popular Vote guarantees the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The bill ensures that every vote, in every state, will count in the presidential election. The bill is constitutionally conservative state-based legislation that preserves the Electoral College, preserves state control of elections, and preserves the power of the states to control how the President is elected.
