Women's Equality Day (WED) Award Nominations Open

As part of the Women's Equality Day 2025 celebration on August 21 at the Sweet Heart Winery in Loveland, members of the League and the public are asked to nominate women for two awards.

Women's Equality Day Award - This award recognizes women in the community who have impacted the citizens of Larimer County by expanding and protecting voting rights of all eligible voters, working to empower women to reach their full potential, or creating an environment where gender doesn't limit opportunity. Find the nomination form here.

League Legacy Award - This award recognizes one League member who has worked diligently to meet the goals of the League of Women Voters by encouraging informed and active participation in government, working to increase understanding of major public policy issues, influencing public policy through education and advocacy, or promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in principle and practice. Find the nomination form here.

The deadline to submit nominations is June 1. Click the gold banner on our home page to find nomination forms and updated WED details. Follow/share new Facebook/Instagram posts for the event

Women's Equality Day Silent Auction Items Still Needed

We are looking for additional items for the Women's Equality Day silent auction. Please contact Julie Stackhouse if you can donate an item. Your support is appreciated.

Strong Password Requirement is Coming

Strong passwords are important. Strong passwords make it more difficult for hackers to crack a password and gain access to our website.

For your protection, the Board of Directors of the League of Women Voters of Larimer County has decided to require "strong" passwords for our ClubExpress website, effective June 1, 2025.

Beginning June 1, each member's password must be a minimum length of 12 characters, with each password containing a lowercase letter, uppercase letter, number and symbol. If your password does not meet the requirements, you will be prompted to change your password before you are able to log in.

Mr. Easter offers a detailed picture of the impact the foods you love have on the climate crisis. Not a cookbook, but instead, gathered like guests around the table, you will find the stories of these foods: the soil that grew the lettuce, the farmers and ranchers and orchardists who steward the land, the dairy and farm workers and grocers who labor to bring it to the table. And you will learn about alternatives that make your favorite foods not only more sustainable, but also more delicious.
