| | Women's Equality Day Award Nominations Open
As part of the Women's Equality Day 2025 celebration on August 21 at the Sweet Heart Winery in Loveland, members of the League and the public are asked to nominate women for two awards.
Women's Equality Day Award - This award recognizes women in the community who have impacted the citizens of Larimer County by expanding and protecting voting rights of all eligible voters, working to empower women to reach their full potential, or creating an environment where gender doesn't limit opportunity. Find the nomination form here.

Beginning June 1, each member's password must be a minimum length of 12 characters, with each password containing a lowercase letter, uppercase letter, number and symbol. If your password does not meet the requirements, you will be prompted to change your password before you are able to log in. | South Larimer Discussion Group Meeting

The LWVUS, the League of Women Voters of Arizona, the NAACP, the Hispanic Federation, the OCA-Asian Pacific America Advocates, and the Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote have filed a federal lawsuit arguing that President Trump's Executive Order 14248. This document ordered the Election Assistance Committee to require documentary proof of citizenship on the federal voter registration form, threatened to withhold funds from states allowing post-election day receipt of mail ballots, and invited DOGE to assist in voter list maintenance, among other provisions. The League argues that it was an illegal order beyond the President's power under the United States Constitution and federal law.
| Reflecting on the Election: We Will Speak Up and Speak Out
(A synopsis from a blog by Dianna Wynn, President, League of Women Voters of the United States.)
The League does not endorse candidates, but we have always engaged in political advocacy. The election is now over, and those who were elected are no longer candidates. As a nonpartisan organization, the League has every right to call out statements, actions, and policies that are counter to our values and principles.
Advocating for gender and racial equity is not partisan. Calling out attacks on democracy is not partisan. After all, our mission is to "defend democracy." We cannot live up to our mission if we are unwilling to speak up and speak out. | Make a Difference! Volunteer Now!
As an all-volunteer organization, the League relies on members to volunteer for the many initiatives and support functions that make our League effective. Take a look at those areas looking for volunteers on our Volunteer Now! page. | Welcome New Members!
