About this event

Emily Ambrose, Assistant Director Training and Development at CSU, will lead this discussion titled: Reframing our Relationship with Feedback: White Women and Racial Justice.

Receiving tough feedback can be rough and necessary. We may react by becoming defensive, feeling challenged, and ultimately shutting down. Using frameworks from Tara Mohr, Don Miguel Ruiz, and Brené Brown, this presentation focuses on our personal journeys reframing our relationship with feedback, specifically regarding feedback around privilege. How do we stay open? How do we process and consider what we've heard? How do we implement lasting behavior change and increase trust with communities and individuals of color we care about? This conversation content isn't easy, and we'll tackle these questions together.

Note: While the intended audience are those who identify as white and/or women, the session is open to all.
