What is this?
Carolyn Jefferson Jenkins, PhD. was the first woman of color elected to be the President of the LWVUS and served two terms, from 1998-2002. She chaired the subcommittee of the LWV strategic plan focused on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Her new book, The Untold Story of Women of Color in the League of Women Voters, was published just as the COVID 19 pandemic began. We'll watch her wonderful and thought-provoking video in which she discusses research and suggestions of how the League can move ahead to become a more diverse organization.
